Spinach is a source of iron, Vitamin E, magnesium, Vitamin A, fiber, and Vitamin C. As spinach is high in antioxidants it may also reduce blood pressure and promote healthy hair and skin.
Green Apples are easy to find and a great natural sweetener for any juice. When juiced with the peel still on, apples are a great source of vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium. Make sure to leave the peel on but remove the core as apple seeds are contain amygdalin, which is converted into cyanide when the seeds are chewed or crushed.
Cucumber is high in vitamin A, B complex, vitamin C and folic acid. It promotes hydration, may help aid weight loss and may help lower blood sugar.
Lemons are high in immune boosting vitamin C and has detoxifying and antioxidant properties. For those who like me are anaemic, Vitamin C also helps with the absorption of iron found in greens such as Spinach.
Ginger has powerful anti-inflammatory effects, aids in digestion and relieves bloating. There is no need to peel ginger before adding to the juice. Scrub it clean, cut a piece off then push it through your juicer.
Celery is agreat source of important antioxidants, reduces inflammation and supports digestion.
